ABOUT ME

Now based in south Wales I have been filming wildlife of all kinds and in all parts of the world for 25 years.
After working as a stills photographer and hill-walking guide in my early
twenties I went full-time as a cameraman in 1995. After 2 separate staff
cameraman jobs, each of 4 years, I went freelance in 2003.
I have owned and worked with DigiBeta, Super 16 film and stills cameras
(digital and medium format), HDCam, XDCam HD, both tape and P2
Panasonic Varicams, and lately with the 4k RED Epic, Sony F55, Panasonic Varicam 35 / HS, and Arri Amira.
I am also a trained Phantom HD operator and in fact have trained several
crews in its use ( Frozen Planet, Discovery North America).
I have worked all over the world including North and Central America, Europe,
Russia, Asia and Africa in habitats from tundra to rainforest.
